Roles and Responsibilities

• Handling of citizen requests: maintenance, repairs, mediation in relation with municipal services and the competent Aldermen.
• Informing citizens on municipal or other activities.
• Helping citizens respond to municipal questions: waste removal, municipal services to contact…
• Management and logistical support of the 10 Participation Committees: Marexhe, Rogivaux, Centre, Croix Jurlet , Cité Wauters-Trixhe Maille-Pontisse, Basse-Campagne, La Préalle, Vottem, Milmort, Liers.
• Organization and management of the Municipal Children’s Council.
• Management of sister cities with Castelmauro in Italy, Alès in France and Kilmarnock in Scotland.
• Organization of miscellaneous activities and actions: Flowered Facades and Lighted Facades contests, Operation Summer Jobs, Egg Hunt, Italian Village, Municipal Challenge for Télévie, Operation “Maman Fleurie,” Mobility Day, Night at the Circus, etc.
• Collaboration with miscellaneous associations for citizen operations: campaign: Candles of Liberty, operation: Night of Darkness, Damien Foundation, Rainbow, an organ donation campaign, computer classes in collaboration with IPEPS (Provincial Institute of Education and Social Promotion), SIEP Salon (Information service for studies and professions) for students, etc.
• Point: Basse-Meuse Tourism Office.
• Ensuring miscellaneous office hours: Italian office hours, Thursdays from 10am to 12pm, ONP (National Pension Office) office hours, the 1st Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 4pm and INIG (National Institute of Disabled War Veterans) office hours, the 4th Tuesday of the month.
