Municipal Services
The municipal administration of Herstal is over one thousand people strong, counting public local institutions, the CPAS (Public Center for Social Welfare), and the Police Precinct. With around 450 municipal agents and around 357 teachers, it offers a multitude of services for the benefit of all of its residents.
The municipal service teams are competent and motivated. Led by the Municipal Secretary and the Secretary’s high-ranking civil servants, these teams work to constantly listen to citizens, allowing all citizens to live better, collectively and individually, in Herstal.

General Schedule
From September 1 to June 30, our offices are accessible from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 12 pm.Certain services are open in the afternoon and/or offer permanently-manned office times.
Summer Schedule
From July 1 to August 31, the municipal services follow their summer schedule.During this period, offices are generally accessible from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 12 pm.
