Roles and Responsibilities:

Housing safety:

• Administrative management of housing health inquiries carried out by the public service of Wallonia, within the framework of an ADeL (Housing and Rent Benefits) request.
• Carrying out housing health inquiries: visits and administrative management.
• Processing files for rental permits: visits and administrative management.
• Housing advice for the public: informative role.
• Drafting the municipal program of housing action, keeping permanent inventories, etc.

Safety of Places Accessible to the Public:

For businesses:

• Administrative management and safety visits of businesses with the Inter-Municipal Fire Prevention Service.
• Administrative management of certificates for rest houses, hospitals, O.N.E. (Office of Birth and Childhood) childcare centers, hotels, games of chance, etc.
• Monitoring of civil responsibility insurance for concerned establishments.

Public Safety and Emergency Plan:

• Administrative management and visits to private buildings that threaten public safety (buildings at risk of collapsing on public streets, fall of elements, CO poisoning, chimney fires, trees at risk of falling, etc.)
• Management of the municipal emergency and intervention plan.
