RQH in a few words:
Born out of the initiative of Herstal’s local authorities, Neighborhood Association of Herstal has been in existence as a non-profit organization since 2005.Besides being open to Herstal’s population, it is part of the dynamic revitalization of the neighborhoods of its city.
To these ends, it regularly participates in neighborhood activities and organizes professional development opportunities in partnership with FOREM.
In this vein, activities linked to different building and cleaning careers are offered under the form of full-time training contracts.
These technical activities are carried out within the framework of the Regional Housing Society of Herstal and the urban renewal policy of the City of Herstal, in collaboration with the CPAS (Public Center for Social Welfare) of Herstal, Walloon Housing Funds, and European Social Funds.
Around twenty FOREM interns can be accommodated over the course of a year by a team made up of social workers and of technical trainers.
This team works every day on inserting their clients into the socio-professional world with rigor, availability, and humanity.
